Mrs. Josephine Anderson, 87, Williamsport, died Monday, April 25, at her home.
She was born March 24, 1896 in Attica, the daughter of John and Mary Stoehr Bernhart. She married William R. Anderson April 24, 1915 in Attica, who died March 2, 1981. At one time she worked at McDermond Department Store in Attica. She moved to Williamsport about 34 years ago.
Survivors include four sons, Milton of State Line, Robert and Melvin, both of Boswell, and Duane of West Lebanon; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Dare of Williamsport; ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Maxine, and five brothers and sisters.
Services were conducted last Thursday at Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport with Rev. Don Williams officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
